Luxury Stores are Rushing to Expand in Singapore

It is said that these days, various of luxury brands have expanded stores in Singapore or decided to double size of outlets in its shopping centres. That will surely bring much more enjoyment to fans of high-end fashion. Besides, tourists there will also find Singapore as an attractive destination for shopping.

Without question, as one of the most millionaire-dense areas all over the globe, Singapore has fixed itself as the icon of luxurious life style. Even if in the period of economic downturn, with visitor arrivals falling and local consumption down overall, its luxury retail remains a bright spot in the  depressed market. Even some top fashion brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hugo Boss have decided to double the size of their flapship stores here. The jeweller Tiffany & Co will also embark on renovation plans in response to current high customer traffic and sales revenue. 

The main shopping centre and luxurious address Orchard Road has set up over 20 plazas, and is scheduled to open new ones to meet the increasing demand for luxury goods. Besides, the Mandarin Gallery is expected to go into a high-end shopping and lifestyle destination with a sophisticated tenant mix. Also its first casinos Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World at Sentosa will surely expand its luxury sales scale.


It seems that Singapore is ready to cater to the exclusive representative. This large luxury properties also push Singapore’s whole market upwards. Because the overall global economy is already moving towards recovery, consumers will improve their confidence of purchasing luxury items.
